The short version

Birthdate Season Calculator is a free tool that works out birthday facts from your date of birth — such as your season of birth, exact age, birth weekday, zodiac sign, and other astrology and birthday details — in your browser. Its results are for general information and fun — not professional advice — and it's provided as-is, with no guarantees. These Terms set out the rules; the full text below is what legally governs your use.

1. Agreement to these Terms

These Terms are a legal agreement between you and ZIX DEV Inc, a Delaware corporation with its registered address at 1111B S Governors Ave STE 40023, Dover, DE 19904, United States ("ZIX DEV", "we", "us", or "our"). By using Birthdate Season Calculator (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service. The Service is intended for a general audience; if you are a minor, please use it only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

2. What the Service is

The Service is a free, browser-based tool with no accounts and no payments. You enter a date of birth and it computes and displays a set of birthday facts — such as your season of birth, exact age, day of the week born, Western zodiac sign, and other astrology and birthday details — entirely on your device.

3. Informational and entertainment purposes only

The Service's results are provided for general informational and entertainment purposes only. The zodiac, astrology, and any similar results — such as sign details, Chinese zodiac, birthstone, or numerology — are provided purely for entertainment and are not statements of fact, belief, or advice. While we aim for the date-based calculations (such as season, age, and weekday) to be accurate, we do not warrant that any result is error-free or fit for any particular purpose, and results should not be relied on for legal, medical, financial, official, or other important decisions. Always verify anything important with an authoritative source.

4. Your privacy

We designed the Service so your birthdate stays on your device. How the Service handles data is explained in our Privacy Notice.

5. Acceptable use

Please use the Service only for its intended, lawful purpose. Don't attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer for abuse, or otherwise misuse the Service or interfere with anyone else's use of it.

6. Our intellectual property

The Service — its name, code, design, and content — belongs to ZIX DEV Inc or its licensors, except for open-source components, which are used under their own licenses (attributions ship with the Service where those licenses require it). You get no rights in our intellectual property beyond using the Service as intended. If you send us feedback, you allow us to use it without obligation to you.

7. No warranty

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE," without warranties of any kind — express, implied, or statutory — including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent the law allows.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent the law allows, ZIX DEV Inc is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost profits, data, or goodwill — arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service.

Our total liability for any claim is capped at the greater of (a) what you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim arose (currently $0, since the Service is free) or (b) US$100. This cap applies no matter the legal theory (contract, tort, or otherwise), even if we've been told such damages were possible.

9. Changes to the Service and these Terms

We may change, suspend, or discontinue the Service, and we may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change to these Terms, we'll update the effective date above. Continuing to use the Service after an update means you accept the updated Terms.

10. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. These Terms do not include a mandatory-arbitration or class-action-waiver clause. Nothing in these Terms removes any consumer-protection right you have under the mandatory law of your home country that cannot be waived by agreement.

11. General

These Terms are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service and replace any earlier understanding on that subject. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our not enforcing a term isn't a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them to an affiliate or successor. We aren't responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
